Silksong

Silksong has been long awaited for many years, and now that it’s here, we’re seeing so many awesome artworks about the game and this one by Goodbyellow really caught my attention. I absolutely love sharp, stylized artworks so this was definitely one of my favourites and it was a lot of fun to make in 3D!

Making something look this flat and stylized in Blender is tricky because we have to be so specific about every part of the model to make the lineart works correctly. I also had a bit of fun with the Speech Bubbles, using different constraints to make the bubbles face the camera but also make the arrows always point at the characters, it was a fun little thing to add!
